Chunks of beef, red wine, fresh thyme, beef stock, and carrots nestle together in a pot and cook slowly until tender and perfectly married together in a rich and flavorful sauce. A combination of baby Bella and button mushrooms are cooked in a little butter, fresh thyme and red wine until soft and then added to the beef mixture.

Potatoes are cooked and mashed with butter, a little milk and some garlic salt and pepper to be the perfect accompaniment to the beef.

To reheat: microwave both the mashed potatoes and beef stew and enjoy with a glass of your favorite red wine.
